What do you need to confirm?

Each answer separates the information a buyer can prepare from the conditions that still need product-level confirmation.

A USEFUL ANSWER STARTS WITH

Product details first.

Include what your team already knows. Open questions can then be confirmed against the correct product, quantity and destination.

QUOTE & ORDER PLANNING

Build a comparable request.

What should I include in a wholesale inquiry?

List the product category or reference model, estimated quantity, destination country and target timing. Add required dimensions, materials, colors, branding, packaging and document needs when available.

A single sitewide MOQ should not be assumed. Minimum quantities can depend on the product, configuration, color mix, packaging and branding scope. The applicable quantity should be stated in the product quotation.

The selected product, specification, quantity, variant mix, packaging, branding and delivery requirements all shape the quote. Ask for the currency, trade basis and validity period to be written into the quotation.

Describe the required quantity for every model and color. Feasibility, minimums per variant and carton configuration should then be confirmed for that specific order.

SAMPLES & SPECIFICATIONS

Review the right version.

Include the model, intended checks and delivery destination in your request. Sample availability, configuration, cost and dispatch timing need to be confirmed for the selected item.

Confirm the material, dimensions, construction, color, logo placement and packaging version you want to review. Also identify any test method or document needed for the destination market.

Collect comments by feature and reference the sample version. Dimensions, materials, artwork and packaging changes should be reflected in the final written specification before bulk production.

BRANDING & PACKING

Define what reaches the shelf.

Send the logo artwork, preferred placement, size, color and application method. The suitable process, artwork format, sample requirement and order conditions must be reviewed against the product.

You can specify retail packaging, inserts, labels, barcodes, hangtags, polybags and carton marks. Include reference artwork or a packaging guide so the requested scope can be assessed clearly.

Name the destination market, product and document required. Any report must be checked for validity, issuing body, tested model and scope; one document should not be assumed to cover every variation.

PRODUCTION & SHIPPING

Plan around confirmed data.

Timing should be confirmed after the product specification, quantity, materials, packaging and artwork are agreed. Share the required arrival date early so sample and production planning can be discussed together.

State the product checks, acceptance criteria and preferred inspection stage. The order can then define whether review is needed during production, before shipment or through an independent inspector.

Ask for unit packed size and weight, units per carton, carton dimensions, net weight and gross weight. Keep these values separate from the product’s dimensions in use.

Provide the destination country, delivery city or port and any preferred trade term used by your team. These details help separate product pricing from packing, freight and import responsibilities.
